Fire!

I am in Rob's Car leaving their house.

This is a picture of the Street over.

Angela Called me about 9:30 last night (Aug. 1st) They are in Bear Lake. The fire in Payson changed directions and was headed for their house...all the neighbors were being evacuated. Heather and I jumped in the Rav and Niel watched Tamari. Robs hygenist was able to get their computers out of the house and the police made him leave. Heather and I still went to see the damage. We were SHOCKED! It was unbelieveable. There was smoke and ash everywhere. We parked the car and got our exercise walking into the neighborhood. It was about 10:30 at night and two fire trucks were in front of Angela's house ready to protect their house so the fire would not shift and destroy their home. Those men are so brave and kind. They let us have 5 minutes to gather pictures, Wedding Dress, Mission, Blessing clothes. Scrapbooks and Ruby's Kindergarten and 1st grade folders ( she didn't want any toys...just those things) We just prayed that the fire would be contained. We drove away in Robs car and found out as we left they had closed the rode just after we had gotten in the upper neighborhood.

The day was not over....Heather and I all smelly and sweaty went into Wal-mart in Payson at 11:40 to wait in line for the new book by Stephanie Meyer...the end of the line was back to the end of the store...We got our book at 12:30 and Ice Cream for the ride home...The fire looked better as we left. Our prayers to all involved!
